Biography

Paul has worked as an actor, writer and voiceover artist for over 26 years. His work as an actor includes seasons at the RSC, in the West End and touring in productions across the country and abroad for various companies and regional theatres playing in classical, modern and musical roles. On television his favourite role was as Josh Carter, a villain in Brookside. On film he has worked with directors including Mike Leigh in Topsy Turvy and Steven Speilberg twice, appearing in The BFG and Ready Player One. He has written various comedy series for BBC Radio 4, a film Flyfishing which was nominated for an HBO comedy award and most recently completed a new screen play Ghosted. His voice over work includes commercials and corporates for Carcraft, Royal Mail, Injury Lawyers 4U, Cerco IT, Yorkshire Building Society, Manchester Fire & Rescue, Kelham Riverside, Pilkington glass, Denon and as the narrator of Channel Five's Big Celebrity Swim.
