Vera Chok is a professional actress. She grew up in Malaysia speaking English and Malay. She studied at Archaeology and Anthropology at Oxford University, and trained as an actor at The Poor School before going on to Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris. She is an experienced character actor, currently appearing in Chimerica at the Almeida Theatre and then the West End (Best Play 2013), and at the National Theatre, playing multiple roles in each.
Vera has appeared on Coronation Street and has three feature films opening in 2014. Vera has experience of Malay and English voiceover work ranging from international video games and animations to corporate training videos.
