Studio 1 (Manchester) is a dedicated voice over suite with integrated ISDN capability. Bright, colourful and friendly with natural light, Studio 1 is a comfortable welcoming environment.

The well-appointed professional suite allows for live down the line recording of voice overs from any suitably equipped studio location worldwide as well as recording on site. Clients are able to attend the session, direct the session by a telephone patch into the studio or leave us to direct.

Manchester's studio harnesses the exceptional power of Apple's dual-core, quad processor Mac Pro, a system more than capable of delivering a successful product.

The Studio 1 suite is based around Digidesign's industry prolific software, ProTools. Running the latest instalment of their award-winning program, version 7.4, sessions are recorded and edited with ease. Sessions are also streamlined with the addition of ProTools own dedicated tactile control interface.

With voices recorded in our comfortable, state of the art, purpose built sound isolation booth, you can be guaranteed of acoustically pristine, transparent sound quality.

In addition to this, our microphones include manufacturers SE Electronics and ADK complement the recording environment's sound quality, to provide clear, concise audio. Our latest addition being SE's acclaimed 'Z5600a ii' microphone.

The voice booth is setup with 2 artist stations enabling capability for productions that require recording of two voices simultaneously, Studio 1 is therefore ideal for a range of productions.

All output is backed up and archived for a full year at no extra charge to the client.

The suite facilitates the import and export of DAT, CD, SDII, WAV, AIFF and MP3 formats which allows easier exchangeability with professional editing systems. We are able therefore to meet a range of delivery requirements and can upload finished audio files via FTP or provide CD's.

The suite also incorporates a comfortable seating area with wireless internet access and free local parking.

Studio 1 can be booked on an hourly basis (£55/hour) with half day, day or full week rates available. With many varying parameters for productions, please call for a bespoke package.
