SUBMITTING A DEMO
We are happy for any voice over artist to submit their demo CD for consideration when we are looking for new voices to represent at the agency. Please be aware however, that we will ONLY listen to the CDs we receive when we are taking on new talent, but we do make it a policy to listen to all submitted CDs so please be patient as you will hear from us eventually.
Please also consider the following when sending in your CD:
- Demo CDs must be audio CDs - no cassettes, DVDs or MP3s please
- remember to include a CV of your voice over experience
- we prefer not to receive acting CVs or showreels
- enclose a stamped addressed envelope so we can return your CD
- Your CD should show your versatility as a voice over artist in all genres including advertising, documentary and corporate.
BEGINNER WORKSHOPS
The Voiceover Gallery prides itself on being an accessible and approachable agency. We encourage new and aspiring talent by offering advice and support via our workshops.
The Beginner Workshop provides an introduction to the voice over industry and an understanding as to what is required to become a successful voice over artist.
It is a common misconception that just because you can speak or have been told that you have a nice voice, you can do voice overs and this is certainly not the case. It is a skill that requires dedication, practice and commitment. To this end, the workshop will give you an insight into the voice over industry, what is expected of an artist and how to get started. During the course of the day you will also get the chance to record 2 short voice overs which you take away on CD.

- The skills required
- Your demo CD
- Marketing yourself
We aim to provide the foundations upon which you can grow as an aspiring artist. The workshops are run once a month and places are limited to ensure each attendee receives adequate support and attention.
The workshops cost £65 +VAT (£76.38) to attend in Manchester and £80 +VAT (£94) to attend in London.
The dates of our next workshops are:
- Manchester: Sat 15th November 2008
- London: Sat 16th August 2008
